Endometriosis a Common Disease in Women
There are several diseases or irregularities, but not perceive, are there some mysterious way producing a nuisance that hinders our comfort. The case of endometriosis is one of the most frequent, as have about 10% of women, and can usually be quite asymptomatic, although there are cases where it can be quite debilitating and thus preclude activity daily.
Endometriosis has to do, as we assume, with the endometrium, a tissue found in the uterus and whose main function is to prepare the area for a possible pregnancy. This tissue is modified during the duration of the menstrual cycle of women, and if it has not become pregnant, and therefore has not implemented any embryo in the uterus, the endometrium is shed and starts to cause bleeding menstruation. All this process is regulated by the hormonal functioning of women.
Endometriosis, then, occurs in cases where the endometrium grows in other areas than the uterus, such as the ovaries or abdomen. This, as well as in women without this pathology, causing bleeding and severe pain. However, these complaints are no different to any that may occur during the period, causing this disease is difficult to diagnose.
Another symptom that may occur as a result of the disease of infertility is very common in women with endometriosis.
There are some hormonal treatments can come to correct the disease, but most of them has to be related to contraceptive use, making it impossible for women to get pregnant. Another option would be surgery.
