It is said that autumn is the season of mists and fruitfulness smooth “and doubtless is a great time for fruits and vegetables as well.

Lots of delicious varieties grown in many countries are in season, such as blackberries, plums, apples, pears, pumpkins, leeks, courgettes and parsnips, to name a few.

There are plenty of tasty varieties of apples around at this time of year, including the delicious apples that are a source of many nutrients, including potassium, calcium, vitamin C and dietary fiber. They are great to eat raw, baked with raisins, or desserts – such as meringue, such as cakes and strudel.

A level of cuisine salt, apple is a perfect partner for grilled meats, especially pork.
